Broken (2006)
A series of five framed ink-jet prints. Exhibited at Goldsmiths College, London, UK.
Broken appropriates 'broken image' icons from the Internet and exhibits them in a gallery setting. Shown as part of a group photography exhibition, these pieces were surrounded by the 'fully present' works of other artists and, in contrast, convey a sense of absence, as if these images failed to load.
